The Renamer widget makes organizing your After Effects project easier. You can quickly rename multiple layers or assets at once. Search and replace words, remove characters, add prefixes or suffixes, and even create custom numbered sequences for your layers.

Can I rename only part of a layer name?

Yes, you can search for specific words within layer names and replace them, or remove a certain number of characters from the beginning or end of names.

How does the sequencing feature work?

You can add a custom sequence to your layer names, choosing both the name and the starting number for the sequence.
